I was lucky to have been referred to Durham Done and Joint clinic in Ajax. From initial visit to diagnosis i found the process very smooth. After an MRI showed a rotator cuff tear, Dr Kowalczuk recommended surgery to resolve the issue. I truely can not say enough good things about Dr Kowalczuk, he was truly awesome. He has a good beside manner and he takes the time to explain and answer questions. If you or anyone you know needs orthopedic support or even surgery I recommend this clinic.

This was my first initial consult visit with Dr. Daniel and then Dr. Gallay. I have to say first Daniel made me feel so comfortable by explaining the results of my X-ray and ultrasound. He took time to explain exactly what was going on in layman‘s terms making me more at ease. Then I saw the orthopaedic surgeon, Dr. Gallay. He was very approachable, good bedside manner. I didn’t feel I was pushed out of the office. He answered all my questions. I was referred to Dr. Gallay in early 2021 for a variety of issues pertaining to my right shoulder. I had the privilege of meeting with Dr. Gallay, who explained the procedure in detail, ensuring my comfort with it and asking if I had any questions. He performed arthroscopic surgery with decompression and capsular release in December 2021 and I am thrilled to say that I now live pain-free, with almost 100% range of motion restored to my right shoulder. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Gallay, Sherry (his patient co-ordinator), Daniel, Kristin, and all the staff I've encountered. They have all been kind, caring, and compassionate.
